This is not a course. This is not a workshop. You can’t easily get this information from reading a book or skimming a slide deck.

The Center Centre UX Strategy Leaders program is different from anything you and your organization have ever experienced. The word "program" doesn’t begin to capture the breadth and depth of this experience.

Dive into every facet of creating, implementing, and leading your UX strategy.

For 24 weeks, you show up with your challenges, and we work through them—together. That’s right, Jared Spool is with you every step of the way. You have our full support. We’ll blast through whatever obstacles you currently have. We’ll build up your team and situational awareness to make the right UX strategy change happen.

During each week, we meet for a total of 5 hours. The people who choose to come to all 5 hours graduate the program with a new perspective on their work. They leave with new tools for solving hard problems (often the very hardest problems). They leave with the words and knowledge to change behaviors that hold the organization back.

You’ll end each week with a newly-formed action plan, tailored to your current situation, ready for you to implement.

Monday: A one-hour Talk UX Strategy session, which is often on the UX Strategy Leader's topic of the week. (But not every week.) This session is open to everyone in the Leaders of Awesomeness community, so there are often 400 or more people attending.

Tuesday: A one-hour Topic Up-Close session, where we explore the topic in-depth and discuss its subtleties and nuances. This is tailored for the organizations attending the session to address their specific needs. Each week, there's homework assigned to map the topic directly to your UX strategy.

Wednesday: A one-hour Strategy Reflection session, where we reflect on what you've done in the past. What has worked and what hasn't?

Thursday: A one-hour Strategy Planning session, where we look forward and plan the next steps for you to take. What will you do differently in the next week? In the next month? Over the next year? We'll review the homework in this session.

Friday: A one-hour Hot Seat session, where up to four organizations bring challenges for the group to work through. These challenges can be on any topic. They don't have to be specific to what we talked about that week (but they often turn out to be).

We record every session, so if you miss one, you can catch up easily.

The topics are published in advance, so you can choose which sessions you wish to come for.

Most people spend, at most, an hour or 2 in the program each week. On weeks where the topic is very relevant, I've seen people spend 5 or more hours.

Some people skip entire weeks. They'll catch up by watching the recordings, if the topics are of interest.

What you get out of this program is what you put into it. It's clear the people spending the most time in the program see the most change in their organizations. That's because they’re getting the support of a great team: Jared, the Center Centre folks, invited Industry Experts, and a few dozen smart UX leaders who are also part of the program. You can have this support too.

Whatever your time zone or schedule, we’ve got you covered.

We move the session times around to accommodate as many folks as we can. Currently, we have members from 18 different time zones.

Every session is recorded and posted in the program. You can watch any recorded session at your convenience.

The program space is always available. Jared and our team keep a close eye on it. We are happy to respond to questions there, too. The nice thing about asking a question in the program space is you'll likely get responses from other UX leaders. It's a wonderful, supportive group.

If you join as a team, we open up the program to everyone you’re working with. You can bring in product managers, IT or engineering leaders, and other critical stakeholders to get your biggest challenges under control.

You’ll no longer have to be put on the spot and have all the answers because you’ll have us there as part of the team.

While there’s no limit on how many people you can include, you’ll want to limit it to those who are essential to making change happen.

Jared Spool is a Maker of Awesomeness at Center Centre – UIE. Center Centre is the school he started with Dr. Leslie Jensen-Inman to create industry-ready User Experience Designers. UIE is Center Centre’s professional development arm, dedicated to understanding what it takes for organizations to produce competitively great products and services. Jared and Leslie also host a lively community of almost 23,000 UX leaders, designers, researchers, and writers from all over the world.
